I think a drug deal was going down as the Google van was driving by. That entire street should be condemned and all the houses should be razed and replaced by a development that is more sustainable and policable. Continued to March and then closed by the lender. It is ordinary for the owner to file bankruptcy the day before the auction(or the same day). This cancels the auction and the lender must file for "relief". This takes time and delays proceedings for about three mortgage payment free months. It is the free rent which encourages filing the day before. Please don't ask how I found this out. Worse the borrower was a police chief. So I found my old foreclosure notices to see 2-4 Mount Vernon had been set for auction back in January. Continued to March and then closed by the lender.

Of course, we have the 3-5 as the gateway for the foreclosure risk for this street.
