Over four sales between 2000 and its eventual foreclosure in 2007, the “value” of this duplex rose 500%. No significant repairs were made during that time period.
It’s now boarded, vacant, rotting, and vandalized.

Dorgan notes in the comments below the house is now occupied if not just slightly less unsightly. We’re now at 78 houses, only two wins so far.

I worked in this house in 07. The people who owned it were nice. Inside was a total mess, not really a big surprise. 50 years ago these houses on this site were just awesome. People who grew up in these neighborhoods, some of the elders I meet are really sad that their”home” is so dirty and messy. I would like to see some real renovations, and hold the banks and other property owners legally and fiscally responsible. This is a frigin joke.
