If it's fixed up, it will ultimately be a multi-fam with no parking.

If it does get fixed up nice and purty we should screen t-shirts for the neighborhood with its "before" image that says "never forget."

The past week there have been guys working on this place. It has a permit tacked to the front, so its legit I guess. I can think of many places on this sight that are more deserving of rehab, but I'm not going to complain if this gets fixed up.

This place, 42 Gilmore and the Victorian you mention in the write up of 42 Gilmore are all owned by the same family. There was a Reverend and he/his church owned them- he passed away and the children have them now. They own/owned a number of the houses on Arch St and sold a few which are now happily occupied- the ones that didn't sell are on your site minus the Victorian, which I sadly watched go from all its original charm and for sale $90k to broken windows and vandalized for $36k. After it had at least 3 months of broken windows and daily visits by teens skipping school and wreaking havoc, they finally decided to board it up. Whatever good use they intended for the properties when purchased went along with the Reverend. The city should repossess them and tear them down and plant some trees.
